APPOINTMENT

We’re here for many types of pets!

We proudly see dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles. Please note that only certain doctors see rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles so please contact us to make an appointment.

Preventative Care

Your pet’s health is essential, and we believe it’s better to be proactive than reactive. That’s why we want to start your pet on the right path when they’re young. This includes getting them on the proper diet and exercise plan, a vaccination schedule, and annual wellness exams (semi-annual when they reach senior age).

Vaccinations help protect your pet from diseases and illness that can cause severe harm and even death.

Health problems can go undetected for extended periods of time, so routine and preventative care is vital in catching potential health concerns early.

Dentistry

According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70% of adult cats and 80% of adult dogs show symptoms of oral disease. Your pet’s oral health is tied to their overall health, including liver, kidneys, and heart health.

In addition to dental exams during annual and semi-annual checkups, it’s also important that you brush their teeth at home. This includes brushing and other chews that can help.

If your pet’s teeth need some help, we offer dental radiographs, cleanings, and other dental surgeries if needed.

Diagnostics

We know that fast diagnosis leads to faster treatments, and that’s important to us. Learn more about our radiology and ultrasonography departments.

Radiology (x-rays) is routinely used to provide valuable information about a pet’s bones, gastrointestinal tract (stomach, intestines, colon), respiratory tract (lungs), heart, and genitourinary system (bladder, prostate). It can be used alone or in conjunction with other diagnostic tools to provide a list of possible causes for a pet’s condition, identify the exact cause of a problem or rule out possible problems.

Ultrasonography, or ultrasound, is a diagnostic imaging technique similar to radiography (X-rays) and is usually used in conjunction with radiography and other diagnostic measures. It allows visualization of the deep structures of the body.

Pain Management

Seeing your pet in pain is never easy, and we’re here to help. We provide consultations and actionable plans to help your pet feel better. This includes therapeutic options, laser therapy, and special diets and movements to help them as they age and their needs change.

Internal Medicine

We take your pet’s health seriously. In addition to diagnostic options like radiology and ultrasonography and an in-house laboratory that can help with blood and urine analysis, and testing for a number of diseases.

We use technology to check the condition of the bladder, liver, kidneys, spleen, and heart as well as to check for the presence of cancerous growths.

If your pet is dealing with illness, we can help.

Flea Treatment

Fleas are annoying, and we’re here to help you fight back. Fleas are small, jumping insects that live off of the blood of animals. They can carry dangerous diseases and will often cause allergic dermatitis” severe itching” in pets. Even worse, infestations of fleas can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to get rid of, and, since flea eggs are able to survive a very long time, it is difficult to completely get rid of them. It is much better to prevent fleas than to have to try to eliminate them. We’ll create a flea protection plan for you and your pet to keep them safe and feeling their best.

Spay & Neuter

Spaying or neutering your pet is one of the best things pet owners can do for their pet. These common surgeries are fairly routine and don’t pose a serious threat to your pet.

The benefits outweigh the risk, as the procedures can help dogs live longer and healthier lives while also reducing behavioral issues. In female dogs, spaying can help prevent serious health problems life mammary cancer and pyometra, a potentially life-threatening uterine infection.

Before this is considered, please be sure to have your pet undergo a complete exam with one of our veterinarians to make sure there are no preexisting health issues.

Surgery

We’re happy to offer general surgery options to our clients, like spays, neuters, and soft-tissue surgeries. It’s important to note that your pet will be taken care of with pre-anesthetic bloodwork, a dedicated team to make sure that everything is going smoothly during surgery, and post-operation instructions to make sure your pet can heal to the best of their ability.

During the operation, our team will carefully monitor your pet’s surgical procedures and recovery. Our attentive staff is available to you and will keep you updated every step of the way.

We also offer laser surgery to our patients. This procedure seals small blood vessels during surgery and speeds up the procedure, reducing the time your pet needs to be under anesthesia. The laser also removed diseased tissue, reducing bacteria in the affected area.

Your pet is in good hands.

Therapeutic Laser

Laser Therapy is an FDA-cleared modality that reduces inflammation, and that results in pain reduction. Laser Therapy is effective in treating acute pain, chronic conditions, and postoperative pain. Laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and fast. Treatments to deeper tissues are administered in 5 to 10 minutes. Typically, even chronic patients exhibit improvement after 3 to 5 treatment sessions. Laser therapy utilizes the body’s own healing powers by stimulating cellular activity. Despite short treatment times, laser therapy treatments initiate a healing process that continues to actively reduce inflammation for up to 24 hours after treatment. Therapy lasers are the most popular among veterinarians. Laser therapy is a clinically proven modality in both human and veterinary medicine.
